5 Kindle Unlimited Thrillers That’ll Keep You Hooked
Table of Content
If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably spent hours scrolling through Kindle Unlimited, trying to find a thriller that actually keeps you hooked. With thousands of titles available, it’s easy for a truly great Kindle Unlimited thriller to get lost in the shuffle.
That’s why I’ve put together this list of five addictive Kindle Unlimited thrillers packed with suspense, mind-bending twists, and dark secrets. These are the kind of psychological thrillers that stay with you long after you close your Kindle. And yes, the last book on this list is my absolute favorite, a true page-turner filled with unforgettable plot twists.
Book 1: Keep It In the Family by John Marrs

If there’s one word to describe Keep It In the Family, it’s twisted and in the most unimaginable way. The story follows Mia and Finn, a newly married couple who move into what seems like their dream home. The couple ends up finding mummified remains of children in their attic, twisted right? As the novel progresses, there are strange discoveries that end up uncovering long-buried family secrets. The lovely new house becomes something far more sinister.
John Marrs excels at creating dark, creeping tension that defines great psychological thriller books. There’s a peculiar feeling that I only get while reading John Marrs, always wondering how can someone do something like this? To be honest, most of John Marrs books are among the Kindle Unlimited thrillers and almost all of them are impossible to put down, but this one is surely my absolute favorite.
Book 2: Saving Noah by Lucinda Berry

Saving Noah is a deeply unsettling and emotional psychological thriller. The story centers on a family torn apart by the shocking actions of their teenage son. Lucinda Berry is a former psychologist, so anything that comes from her is reliable and factual, especially when it comes to psychology. She handles difficult subject matter with care, creating a tense but thought-provoking reading experience.
This book isn’t just suspenseful, it’s emotionally gripping and dark. It forces you to confront morally gray areas and imagine what you would do in the same situation. If you enjoy darker, more intense Kindle Unlimited thrillers, this one will stay with you long after you finish. Speaking of intense and dark reads, I have reviewed Disseverment by Z.C. Krol, and it’s unlike anything you would expect from a typical thriller.
Book 3: Never Lie by Freida McFadden

Never Lie by Freida McFadden is a fast-paced, addictive thriller that’s perfect for fans of quick and twisty reads. Tricia and Ethan have just got married, and they are trapped in a remote location during a snowstorm. The couple soon uncovers hidden recordings and disturbing secrets that slowly unravel a much darker truth.
This is one of those binge-worthy Kindle Unlimited thrillers you can finish in a single evening. Freida McFadden’s writing is adored by many thriller fans, and for all the right reasons. She keeps the pacing tight while delivering jaw-dropping twists. I actually started my thriller journey with this book, so it is indeed quite beginner-friendly.
Book 4: The Tenant by Freida McFadden

The Tenant is lighter than some of McFadden’s other books, which is part of its charm. The story follows a couple who get a new tenant, and that’s when all the weird, creepy, and sometimes downright gross things start happening. Honestly, it had me thinking about the book nonstop, trying to figure out why these strange events are happening, only for something even stranger to happen next. It’s such an amazing suspense ride from start to finish! The plot twist might be a bit simple, but WOW didn’t see it coming at all. This one was nominated for the 2025 Readers’ Favorite Mystery & Thriller Award, so it’s clearly a solid read, just a little simpler than the other books on my list.
If you’re looking for an easy-to-read Kindle Unlimited suspense novel that still delivers intrigue and tension, this is a great pick. It’s perfect as a palate cleanser between darker psychological thrillers. It’s a fun, fast-moving thriller that keeps you entertained without requiring heavy emotional investment.
If you’re looking for fun palate cleanser books, these 3 Top-rated Children’s Books are also a perfect choice.
Book 5: What Lies Between Us by John Marrs — My Top Favorite!

And finally, my absolute favorite. What Lies Between Us by John Marrs is the kind of psychological thriller that sneaks up on you, delivering shocking twists when you least expect them. If you only read one book from this list of Kindle Unlimited thrillers, make it this one. The story follows two women (mother-daughter duo) bound by dark, interwoven secrets. Marrs masterfully builds tension and explores family trauma, creating a chilling atmosphere that keeps you guessing until the final page.
This is a true binge-worthy thriller that will have you thinking about it long after you finish. It really gives that true psychological thriller vibe, while reading, you can’t help but think about how and why people do such things to each other.
